Nathan is a Senior Associate in WRI's Climate, Economics, and Finance Program. Nathan's work focuses on multilateral climate governance and diplomacy, with a focus on the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, the Paris Agreement, and associated processes. Nathan coordinates WRI's engagement in UN Climate Change processes and conducts research on related topics, including the Paris Agreement's enhanced transparency framework, accountability of climate action, advancing the implementation of the Paris Agreement, and the role of UN Climate Change processes in international climate governance. 

Prior to working on international climate policy, Nathan focused on advancing U.S.-domestic climate resilience and preparedness as part of WRI’s U.S. Climate Impacts project.

Nathan holds a Master of Arts in Environmental Resource Policy from the George Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from American University in Washington, DC.

Outside of the office, Nathan is trying new baking recipes, learning Spanish, or umpiring Little League baseball games.
