Forest Atlases
The Forest Atlases are online information systems built by WRI in collaboration with national government and allow users to visualize and analyze data on forest change and land cover. The Forest Atlases offer: land data (maps of forest cover, vegetation, cities, roads, hydrography, etc.), land use data (maps showing how land is allocated), and change data, including fire and tree cover loss alert systems. Using the tools within the Forest Atlases users can analyze how different datasets overlap and monitor forestry activities. Users can also download land use data through Open Data Portals and subscribe to receive regular alerts for specific areas.
