Andry Rasamuel is the IT & Communications Officer for Global Forest Watch in Madagascar.
Andry Rasamuel likes to use his Malagasy eye to communicate the culture and peculiarities of his country. Andry advocates the communications originating from the local context to translate at global scales, trying to overcome the intercultural misunderstanding through images and videos, not only abroad but also within the different regions and social groups within Madagascar. Andry Rasamuel is kin to produce communications materials to promote GFW activities in Madagascar, and especially aimed to Forest Watcher for the users in the different types of forests.
Prior to joining WRI, Andry has worked as an IT manager for the top brewery in Madagascar and for the Research & Conservation Program of the Missouri Botanical Garden in Madagascar.
