WASHINGTON, DC (January 11, 2017)—The World Bank and World Resources Institute’s Ross Center for Sustainable Cities invite members of the press to attend Transforming Transportation 2018, one of the largest global conferences dedicated entirely to sustainable transport and development. #ttdc18

Transforming Transportation is based on the premise that transitioning to smart, sustainable mobility will play an essential part in addressing global challenges such as climate change, poverty, gender inequality and public health.

This year’s event focuses on “realizing sustainable mobility for all in the digital era.” Speakers will discuss innovations like shared mobility platforms, autonomous driving and electric vehicles, and explore how we can leverage these cutting-edge solutions to make transport safer, greener, and more inclusive and efficient.

The event brings together a wide range of transport leaders and innovators from around the world, including government officials, CEOs, technology pioneers, academics and development experts.

To attend, please contact Mauro Azeredo, mazeredo@worldbank.org, +1 (202) 460-2033, by January 10.
