The annual UN climate summit, or COP30, is the premier gathering for the world’s climate decision-makers — from heads of state to business and Indigenous leaders, NGOs, civil society groups and more.  

This is the moment for countries to come together and drive global progress on cutting emissions, building resilience, protecting nature, and financing the transition to a greener, safer future. If the conference is successful, it could help move the world from goals and pledges to real action that ensures a safer future.
