United Kingdom
WRI's United Kingdom office is home to the Better Buying Lab, the Coalition on Urban Transitions, the Food and Land Use Coalition, and WRI’s Ocean Program. It also houses WRI professionals working on climate change, food loss and waste, and COP26.

WRI UK is home to approximately 40 experts working on food, forests, cities, and the ocean, and serves as the main conduit for relations with the UK government, one of WRI’s core donors and partners, as well as a broad range of partners across the private sector, academia, and civil society.
The establishment of a presence in London supports an institute-wide push to deepen collaboration with WRI’s most important partners in Europe and engage additional governments, companies, institutions and media in the region that are innovators and leaders on the issues WRI is focused on.
