Places to Watch Commodities (PTWC) provides a method to filter millions of forest disturbance alerts to identify areas that are likely to be in noncompliance with zero-deforestation commitments if planted with soy or oil palm. PTWC is a descendant of the global Places to Watch (PTW) analysis, which identifies locations of and provides inputs for stories about emerging deforestation.
