Bruno Incau
Financing and Urban Economy Coordinator, WRI Brasil

Bruno is the Financing and Urban Economy Coordinator at WRI Brazil, where he leads initiatives aimed at strengthening the capacity of local governments and development finance institutions to structure and finance low-carbon and resilient urban projects. His work includes leading the FISC Network, coordinating actions under the CHAMP Initiative, and supporting project accelerators focused on sustainable solutions for cities, such as the Urban Heat Solutions Accelerator.
Before taking on his current role, Bruno coordinated cooperation activities for the UrbanShift platform in Latin America and the Caribbean, also providing technical support in Africa and Asia. He has over 10 years of international experience in sustainable and integrated urban planning, climate finance, nature-based solutions (NBS), and strategic environmental assessment. He also has extensive experience in data-driven decision-making and socio-environmental investment evaluation.
Bruno holds a degree in Environmental and Urban Engineering and a Master’s in Environmental Science and Technology from the Federal University of ABC. He is the author and co-author of articles and publications on climate finance, NBS, and urban governance.
