Ashna is a Technical Research Analyst in WRI's System Change Lab and Climate Watch team. In this role, she plays a crucial part in supporting Climate Watch's initiatives to collect, analyze, and maintain countries' climate commitment data. She is also responsible for maintaining the systems within the System Change Lab's platform. Prior to joining WRI, Ashna interned in the Climate Risk Management and Adaptation team at World Wildlife Fund (WWF). During her internship, she focused on developing environmental and social safeguard guidelines that incorporate nature-based solutions.

Ashna holds a B.A. in Environmental Science and Economics and a M.S. in Geographic Information Science & Cartography from Clark University. Her undergraduate thesis involved performing statistical analysis to investigate the impacts of foreign investments on air quality in Asia. During her master's degree, she worked as a Remote Sensing Research Analyst at Clark Labs, where she focused on mapping and analyzing historical and current land covers in the global coastal equatorial region.

Apart from her professional endeavors, Ashna finds joy in exploring nature, particularly in the mountainous regions.
