International Offices
WRI Brasil
WRI Brasil was founded in 2014 to create a better world for people, nature and the climate. Through research, coalitions and pilot projects, WRI Brasil staff help change the way the country designs its cities, produces food and manages land to support sustainable development.
WRI Colombia
In 2020, WRI registered a legal presence in Colombia to facilitate our growing work there. The WRI Colombia Foundation represents the World Resources Institute in the Republic of Colombia.
WRI México
WRI México focuses on five topics: climate, cities, forests, energy, and the ocean. We work with federal and local governments and the private sector to increase climate ambition in Mexico and Colombia, where WRI recently opened an office.
