The State of Climate Action 2022 Webinar from World Resources Institute (WRI)

Limiting global warming to 1.5 degrees C requires rapid transformations in the ways in which we power our economy, build our cities, feed a growing population, manage our forests, and produce and transport goods and services. Luckily, we’ve never had more information about what needs to be done.

On November 3, we hosted a high-level launch event for the State of Climate Action 2022 report. Developed by Systems Change Lab, the report provides a clear snapshot of the transformations needed across sectors to address the climate crisis. The research reveals some bright spots but overall finds that pace and scale of transformations needed to limit warming to 1.5 degrees C requires efforts to rapidly accelerate.

Released in advance of the COP27 summit, the State of Climate Action 2022 will be an invaluable handbook for decision-makers in government, companies, investing firms and funding institutions who are considering where to focus their limited time and resources to tackle the climate crisis.
