W. Briana Fowler-Puja
Research Analyst, U.S.-International Engagement
Briana Fowler-Puja is a Research Analyst with the U.S.-International Engagement team. She works to facilitate climate and energy dialogues between non-governmental U.S. participants and counterparts in China, India, and the European Union.
Prior to starting this role, Briana worked with WRI's Electric School Bus Initiative, researching and writing articles on the transition to electric school buses in the U.S. She has several years of experience working on diverse, multi-national teams. The first of these experiences was an internship in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, where she looked at methods to improve waste management practices.
Briana holds an M.P.A in Environmental Science and Policy from Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs. She also holds a B.S. in mathematics and a B.A. in Asian studies with a minor in Japanese from Lehigh University.
Briana is currently based in the U.S., but has also lived in Indonesia and Japan and goes back often to visit family and friends.
