Mariana Müller Barcelos is a Senior Electromobility Analyst at WRI Brasil, working on freight transport decarbonization projects. She currently focuses on public policy and stakeholder engagement for the Urban Freight Decarbonization Project, which aims to build a coalition of stakeholders to establish national guidelines for decarbonizing urban freight transport.

At WRI Brasil, Mariana has also contributed to public transport quality projects, particularly on the QualiÔnibus Program, and has supported various initiatives aimed at advancing urban transport sustainability.

Mariana holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), a master’s degree in Transport Engineering from the same institution, and is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Production Engineering, with an emphasis on Transport Systems, also at UFRGS.
