Jessica Wang is a Senior Manager for the Electric School Bus Initiative at the World Resources Institute (WRI) Ross Center for Sustainable Cities, where she helps school districts navigate the transition to electric school bus fleets through technical assistance, stakeholder engagement, funding and implementation support. Her work focuses on reducing barriers to adoption for school districts across the country.

Prior to joining WRI, Jessica worked with Emory University’s Department of Transportation, where she supported shuttle and fleet operations for university and healthcare staff and students while advancing sustainable transportation initiatives. Her work included expanding access to alternative transportation options and growing campus bicycle infrastructure and programming.

Jessica holds a dual B.A. in Environmental Studies and Political Science from Emory University as well as a M.Sc. in Global Environment, Politics, and Society from the University of Edinburgh.

Jessica splits her free time between tending to her indoor houseplant jungle and staying engaged in civic and electoral efforts in her community.
