Edson Guimarães is a Mobility Planning Analyst at WRI Brasil, where he works on sustainable urban mobility and road safety projects, with an emphasis on public transport and motorcycle-focused studies.

He takes part in projects such as QualiÔnibus, Mutirão Brasil, and the Bloomberg Initiative for Global Road Safety, where he works with data analysis and geoprocessing to turn complex information into analyses that support public decision-making.

Before joining WRI Brasil, he worked in the financial sector and at the Rio Grande do Sul State Secretariat of Public Security. He holds a bachelor's degree in Geography from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS).
