Angelo Angel Gomez

Angelo Angel is a Grants and Finance Manager in the Coalition for Urban Transitions where he is responsible for overseeing the budget and operation of large-scale, multi-sectoral and multi-country grants.
Prior to joining WRI, Angelo worked as an operations analyst for the Climate Change Division at the Inter-American Development Bank in Washington, DC. His role was pivotal in implementing the day-to-day operations of the NDC Invest Programmer Portfolio in Latin America and the Caribbean Region.
Angelo holds a master’s degree in administration from Strayer University and a bachelor’s degree in Tourism Management from the University of La Serena, Chile. From 2002 to 2004, he was an intern and then a park ranger assistant in Torres del Paine National Park, Patagonia.
Angelo lives in Cheverly, MD., with his wife, Moira, and their two sons, Raiquen and Tahiel.
