Angelo E. Angel Gomez
Grants and Finance Manager, Coalition for Urban Transitions, WRI Ross Center for Sustainable Cities
Angelo Angel is a Grants and Finance Manager in the Global Electric Mobility team at the WRI Ross Center for Sustainable Cities where he is responsible for overseeing the finances, budgets and operations of large-scale, multi-sectoral and multi-country grants. Previously, he was the Grants and Finance Manager for the Coalition for Urban Transitions.
Prior to joining WRI, Angelo worked as an operations analyst for the Climate Change Division at the Inter-American Development Bank in Washington, DC. His role was pivotal in implementing the day-to-day operations of the NDC Invest Programmer Portfolio in Latin America and the Caribbean Region.
Angelo holds a master’s degree in administration from Strayer University and a bachelor’s degree in Tourism Management from the University of La Serena, Chile. From 2002 to 2004, he was an intern and then a park ranger assistant in Torres del Paine National Park, Patagonia.
Angelo lives in Cheverly, MD., with his wife, Moira, and their two sons, Raiquen and Tahiel.
