TUMI E-Bus Mission
Technical Assistance Webinar Series: Connecting Industry Experts with Transit Planners
World Resources Institute (WRI) is pleased to invite you to the TUMI E-Bus Mission technical assistance webinar series.
This series is structured to deliver direct support from industry experts to the local planners implementing e-bus procurements as part of the TUMI E-Bus Mission. The workshop topics have been constructed to address specific concerns and questions that city and transit agencies may encounter. Each workshop will be held twice in short succession to accommodate participants in different time zones and languages.
Stakeholders from TUMI’s Deep Dive and City Network cities are encouraged to attend, ask questions, and engage with the speakers and materials during and after the workshops. Examples of stakeholders that will find the series valuable include city, regional planning, energy, and transit agencies; electric utilities and energy companies; and other groups that are engaged with the technical aspects of e-bus operations and management.

The purpose of these webinars will be to provide tools on planning for e-buses in fleets and reducing the barriers to e-bus adoption, as well as to share the real-world experiences of municipal planners and transit operators. The workshops will be conducted as 90-minute live webinars, with each webinar providing:
- Research and tools on topics that are closely aligned with typical barriers for e-bus adoption, such as managing operations and arranging financing.
- Live, interactive presentations from industry experts and (where applicable) direct testimonies on their uses from cities that have used the tools or research.
- Live translation services to enable direct communication between English, Spanish, Portuguese and Indonesian speakers.
WRI will distribute invitations in advance of each workshop, which will include more details on the tools, research, speakers and registration information.
