Tracking New NDCs and Their Impact
The latest round of national climate commitments — known as nationally determined contributions (NDCs) — will define the pace and ambition of global efforts through 2035. More than 60 countries have already submitted new NDCs, with more expected in the coming weeks.
Which countries have submitted new NDCs, how do they compare, and just how much could these new climate plans cut emissions? Join Climate Watch on October 9 at 9 AM EDT (3 PM CEST) for answers to all these questions and more.
During this interactive training, you will learn how to use the NDC Tracker to track and evaluate new NDCs in real time. We will demonstrate how to use the tool to quantify emissions reductions from new NDCs globally and nationally, and our experts will also dive into key sectoral trends and insights from the NDCs submitted so far.
Speakers:
- David Waskow, International Climate Initiative Director
- Leandro Vigna, Outreach & Data Partnership Manager, Climate Watch
- Irene Berman-Vaporis, Head of Communications, Climate Watch (moderator)
