The Climate Implementation Tracker (Beta) is an Excel tool that supports tracking and visualizing progress towards a variety of climate actions. ​It is aimed at providing suggestions on accounting for countries’ mitigation and adaptation objectives and operationalizes the tracking and reporting guidance in the Climate Policy Implementation Framework, the GHG Protocol Mitigation Goal Standard and the GHG Protocol Policy and Action Standard.

The tracker is a simple, standardized, cost- and resource-effective tool to track the implementation and effects of policies so that: (1) Progress can be understood and communicated consistently and transparently, and (2) the ability to prepare future NDCs is enhanced, based on an understanding of how current actions are delivering. ​

The tool is released as a beta version for public testing and feedback.
