Zachary Wandalowski
Communications Intern, UrbanShift, WRI Ross Center for Sustainable Cities

Zachary Wandalowski is a Communications Intern for UrbanShift at WRI Ross Center for Sustainable Cities. He works to support UrbanShift's outreach by managing social media channels, promoting webinars and virtual events, and writing blogs that highlight different aspects of UrbanShift’s work.
Before joining WRI, Zachary worked as an opinion columnist for his university’s student newspaper, The Diamondback, focusing on sustainability, urban planning, and economics.
Currently, Zach is a student at the University of Maryland, studying International Relations and Economics. He volunteers as an English language tutor for refugees and immigrants in the Washington D.C. area. In 2018, he was selected to study abroad in Germany through the Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange program.
