Ysabel Diaz
Restoration Finance Intern

Ysabel Diaz is excited to join as a Restoration Finance intern for the Global Restoration Initiative within the Food, Land, and Water program. She works to support projects on the TerraMatch platform and in the Invest and Enable pillars.
Prior to joining WRI, Ysabel served as a program coordinator for an environmental support contract in Latin America under USAID. Ysabel holds a B.A. in Political Economy and Global Studies from UC Berkeley and a Masters in Environment and Development from the London School of Economics. She has research experience related to Payment for Ecosystem Services and also on labor unions in North America.
Ysabel is based out of D.C. and likes to knit, cook, and do hot yoga in her free time.
