Yasar W Khan is a Project Manager and India Liaison with the Global Restoration Initiative at WRI. He is a management professional with over 6 years of experience in strategy consulting and project management.

Before joining WRI Europe, Yasar worked with WRI India on climate resilience initiatives across multiple districts and states in India and advised state governments on green finance strategies. He has also worked with the World Cocoa Foundation, Landmark Group, and 180 Degrees Consulting on projects spanning Africa, Latin America, and the Middle East, focusing on corporate sustainability strategies, international conference coordination, and stakeholder engagement.

Yasar holds an MBA from Alliance Manchester Business School, where he was a merit scholar and received several accolades for his work on climate finance and circular economy innovation. He also holds a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay.

Outside of work, he enjoys animated sitcoms and manga and is a dedicated Game of Thrones fan. He is based out of the London office.
