Vinicius Wereszko Silvano
Active Mobility Intern, WRI Brasil

Vinícius Wereszko is an Active Mobility Intern at WRI Brasil. He is part of the Urban Mobility team, working to promote safer, more inclusive, and better-connected cities through active transportation.
Before joining WRI Brasil, Vinícius worked at the Fundação Estadual de Proteção Ambiental (FEPAM), conducting environmental impact assessments and using geotechnologies for territorial analysis. He later joined the Serviço Geológico do Brasil (SGB/CPRM), supporting groundwater data analysis and hydrogeological studies.
Vinícius is a Geography student at the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), where he participates in the Programa de Educação Tutorial (PET) Geografia, engaging in projects on diversity, territory, and cultural practices. Before transitioning to Geography, he studied Marketing Communications, an experience that shaped his visual and aesthetic sensibility and inspired his commitment to environmental work and meaningful change toward a more sustainable future.
