Victor Muthumbi
Coordinator, Land Accelerator Africa
Victor Muthumbi is the Coordinator, Land Accelerator Africa for the Global Restoration Initiative and supports the Land Accelerator program through contract management, communications and online community building and program management.
Prior to joining WRI, Victor worked as a Business Analyst for Kenya Climate Innovation Center supporting the implementation of the Agribiz program and other programs such as Vijana na Agribiz and Climate Launchpad competitions supporting development of a portfolio of youth and women micro and small enterprises in different agricultural value chains. Previously he also worked as a program officer for Africa Agribusiness Academy, an entrepreneur platform seeking to foster growth and innovation of small and medium scale agribusiness firms in Africa.
Victor holds a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Nairobi in Agriculture Economics and certificates in Gender training, agriculture essentials and sustainable farming.
Victor lives in Nairobi, Kenya and In his spare time, Victor enjoys watching and playing football and rugby and is an adrenaline and speed junky.
