Paula Barrera Tavares
Junior Active Mobility Analyst, WRI Brasil

Paula Tavares is a Junior Active Mobility Analyst at WRI Brasil. She works on projects related to road safety, tactical urbanism and active and sustainable mobility, with a focus on urban interventions.
Before joining WRI Brasil, during her undergraduate studies, she was part of the research group Quadro do Paisagismo no Brasil (Quapá) as a CNPq fellow in the Systems of Open Spaces III project, mapping the morphological transformations and classifying the open spaces of parts of the metropolitan regions of cities in São Paulo and Mexico City.
Paula is an architect and urban planner with a degree from the University of São Paulo (USP), and is interested in the urban dynamics of how people relate to and move through space.
