Paloma Paz Pressato is a Engagement Analyst for Mata Atlântica at WRI Brasil, part of the Forests, Land Use team. Her work focuses on strategic initiatives for the biome, collaborating with different partners to promote restoration, conservation and the transition to a local development model based on sustainability and the socio-cultural valorization of territories.

Before joining WRI Brasil, she worked with indigenous peoples and traditional communities in the state of Mato Grosso, working on land rights, food security, restoration and the development of local organizations.

Paloma is a Forest Engineer with a degree in Agricultural Sciences from the University of São Paulo (ESALQ-USP).
