Oliver James
Land Sector Associate, GHG Protocol

Oliver James is a Land Sector Associate with WRI's GHG Protocol team. He works to inform and support the multi-stakeholder, standard-setting process for accounting and reporting of GHG emissions and removals from land-based activities.
Prior to joining WRI, Oliver worked as a researcher at the Center for Policy Research on Energy and the Environment (C-PREE) at Princeton University and the California Strategic Growth Council in the Governor's Office of California. He holds a M.S. from the Energy & Resources Group and an MPP from the Goldman School of Public Policy at the University of California, Berkeley.
A lifelong student of natural history, Oliver recently published his second book, Birds of Berkeley, from Heyday Press.
Oliver is based in Philadelphia, PA.
