Mirela Sandrini is the Interim Executive Director of WRI Brazil.

She holds a Master's degree in Sustainability from FGV-SP and an MBA in Business Management from Ibmec-RJ. She has extensive experience in multi-sectoral articulation and engagement on socio-environmental issues, with a focus on public policies and the creation of task forces for social innovation and local development, in collaboration with the private sector and civil society institutions.

In her last position at Porticus, as Regional Director for Latin America, she designed the region's strategy and rebuilt the team, focusing on human rights, education, and climate change with an emphasis on climate justice and regenerative economics. She also serves as a Governance Advisor for GIFE, making a strong contribution to combating inequalities, a theme reflected in the institution's current strategic plan.

Mirela holds a degree in Social Communication, specializing in Environmental Management and Territorial Development. She also holds a Master's degree in Sustainability from FGV-SP and an MBA in Business Management from Ibmec-RJ.
