Micheline Khan
Senior Associate, Ocean Climate

Micheline Khan is a Senior Associate, Ocean Climate at WRI’s Ocean Program, where she works with partners across government, the private sector, and civil society to advance ocean-based climate solutions for climate mitigation and adaptation.
Micheline brings several years of experience at the intersection of climate, policy, research, and implementation, having worked with NGOs, municipal government, and academic institutions. Micheline comes to WRI from the United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network in Paris, where she focused on climate and biodiversity policy analysis. She previously held roles at the Nature Conservancy of Canada, coordinating national conservation engagement initiatives, and in municipal government, leading environmental education and outreach on water pollution and stormwater management. Micheline also conducted ecological research in Trinidad and Tobago.
Micheline holds a Master in Climate, Land Use and Ecosystem Services from the Université Paris-Saclay and AgroParisTech and a Honours Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto. Micheline speaks English and French.
