Max Jamieson
Global Lead, Integrated Climate Action, WRI Ross Center for Sustainable Cities
Max Jamieson is the Global Lead for Integrated Climate Action at WRI Ross Center for Sustainable Cities where he is responsible for developing, testing and scaling models for rapid climate action planning, multi-level climate governance, and the integration of climate priorities in city planning, financing, policy implementation and evaluation processes.
Prior to WRI, Max led C40’s climate action planning unit, providing guidance and support to city governments in Africa, Europe, Latin America, North America and Asia in the development of integrated climate action plans. He was responsible for C40’s GHG emissions inventory and mitigation planning work, providing technical assistance, developing guidance and resources and establishing partnerships. Max has a background in sustainable energy and climate research and consulting for municipalities, governments and regulators and the private sector.
Max holds a Masters in Environmental Technology and Energy Policy from Imperial College London and a BSc in Marine Geography, from the University of Wales, Cardiff.
