Alejandra Achury is a Financial Solutions Analyst at the Electric School Bus Initiative. She supports WRI’s efforts by researching funding and financing opportunities for school districts and analyzing the electric bus market to inform stakeholders and help low-income school districts.
Throughout her career, Alejandra has set out to use her experience and skills in business, public policy, and data to seek solutions for a more sustainable society. Prior to joining the team, she worked as a business analyst at Idea Foundry, researching the social impact entrepreneurial ecosystem and developing partnerships to create programs for social entrepreneurs in Colombia.
Alejandra holds a Master of Science in Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University. She also obtained her Bachelor of Business Administration at CUNY Baruch College in New York City.
Alejandra lives in Washington D.C., where she enjoys biking and walking around the city during her free time.
