Lais Maciel is an environmental engineer with an MBA in Corporate Sustainability. She began her career at a leading multinational company in the agricultural sector, where she worked for over seven years developing sustainability and socio-environmental responsibility strategies.

In 2019, she moved to the third sector to work on projects and corporate engagement on forestry and supply chain issues at CDP Latin America. While still at CDP, she led different structures and teams, such as knowledge products, user experience, corporate engagement, and lastly, was responsible for the fundraising, project management, and institutional communication teams, as Impact Director.

Her career has always been very focused on the adoption and creation of tools and processes, aiming at efficiency gains and improvements in the quality and control of deliveries, both for corporate clients and donors, within projects with high environmental expertise, mainly focused on the Climate and Forests agendas.
