Krystol Carfaro is a Grants and Finance Specialist for the Water Program. She works with businesses, governments, and civil society to ensure a water secure future — addressing both water quality and quantity challenges. She is responsible for the financial management of the Water Peace and Security Project and oversees the Aqueduct membership process.

Prior to joining WRI, Krystol worked as a Contract and Grant Analyst for the Department of Environmental Quality — Division of Water Quality in the State of Utah. She oversaw the financial management of many programs including the Clean Water State Revolving Fund and Nonpoint Source Grant Program.

Krystol holds a Master of Science in Administration of Human Services. She lives in Salt Lake City, Utah with her husband Mark, two daughters — Lexy and Lizzy, as well as their two dogs — Buddy and Lady.
