Komal is a research intern for the Science-based Targets Initiative at WRI’s Business Center, which seeks to increase the private sector’s ambition to decarbonize for a low carbon future. She has experience working in management consulting with Brighthouse, a Boston Consulting Group Company where she worked with Fortune 500 companies on Purpose articulation and strategy.

Komal holds a Bachelor of Arts from Sewanee: The University of the South and is currently a Master of Environmental Management candidate at Yale University.

She was raised in the laps of the Himalayas in Nepal and is an avid lover of dogs, food, and great conversation with a good cup of chai.
