Karoline Silva is a Research Analyst at WRI Brasil, working with the Value Chains team in the Forests and Land Use program. Her work involves supporting analyses and research aimed at promoting deforestation-free agricultural supply chains, as well as providing technical oversight for activities developed within the program’s projects.

Before joining WRI Brasil, she worked as a Consultant at Rever Consulting, leading projects focused on sustainable supply chains and traceability in South American agribusiness, with an emphasis on deforestation-free soy, beef, and leather. She also worked as an Environmental Analyst at Indusparquet, where she managed the native wood chain of custody and implemented actions to mitigate socio-environmental risks in the Amazon.

Karoline holds a degree in Forest Engineering and a teaching degree in Agricultural Sciences from the University of São Paulo (USP). She brings a career dedicated to sustainability, with a focus on combating deforestation, supply chain traceability, and stakeholder engagement.
