Kaitlyn is the Communications Specialist for the Core Communications team at World Resources Institute. As a member of WRI's editorial team, she writes, edits and finalizes communications materials, including blogs and op-eds, and supports the outreach efforts of WRI’s Programs and Centers.

Prior to this role, Kaitlyn was the Communications Coordinator where she oversaw WRI's webinar series. Before joining WRI, she worked as a research fellow at Hamilton College, studying the emergence of the local food movement in Central New York, and blogged for the Adirondack Council, a nonprofit organization in the Adirondack Park. She also volunteered at a variety of small, organic farms, inspiring her senior thesis on the perceptions of climate change among Central New York farmers.

Kaitlyn holds a B.A. in Environmental Studies from Hamilton College.

Originally from Rochester, NY, Kaitlyn enjoys cooking, exploring art museums and hiking in the Adirondack Mountains. She is also (slowly) learning French.
