Paige Johnson
Editor & Content Strategist, Land and Forests
As Editor & Content Strategist, Land and Forests, Paige Johnson is responsible for the editorial content surrounding major land and forests initiatives, including Global Forest Watch (GFW), the Global Forest Review, and the Land & Carbon Lab.
Before joining WRI, Paige served as Head of Outreach and Engagement at the Renewable Energy Wildlife Institute. Previously, she held roles in research and communications, including work on boreal forest conservation at NRDC, supporting a clean fuels initiative at Caltech, and helping to develop the dinosaur exhibit at the Los Angeles Natural History Museum.
Paige holds a BA in Philosophy from Occidental College, an MS in Science Communication from Drexel University, and an MSc in Biodiversity, Conservation and Management from the University of Oxford. She lives in Washington, DC, with her cat, Vincent Price.
