James Warburton
Monitoring, Evaluation, & Learning Coordinator
James Warburton works as the Monitoring, Evaluation, & Learning Coordinator for the Global Forest Watch. In this role, he provides tracking and analysis on performance data of the project.
Prior to joining WRI, James has worked in economic development for more than five years, conducting economic research and evaluating program impact. As an external evaluator, he has worked directly in large/complex evaluations of interventions in West Africa, Central America, and the Middle East. Serving as the Senior Research Consultant for the International Initiative for Impact Evaluation on the Development Evidence Portal (DEP), he has reviewed thousands of evaluations and studies from all countries and sectors of economic development.
Twice graduated at the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C., James has earned both his Bachelor’s degree in International Economics & Finance and his Master’s degree in Integral Economic Development Management.
