Isabel is the Project & Engagement Specialist II for the TerraFund program within WRI’s Global Restoration Initiative. As a member of the Invest team, she manages a portfolio of funded restoration projects and coordinates capacity building initiatives to scale locally-led restoration. She also supports TerraFund project selection of local restoration champions and works with members of GRI team to design and improve the processes for this flagship initiative. 

Prior to WRI, Isabel worked at the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management. During her tenure, she led outreach initiatives, managed partnerships, and conducted research to inform statewide park policy and management. She has also spent time with the Rhode Island Infrastructure Bank, working on grant eligibility research, community outreach, and disaster mitigation plan development.

Isabel earned a bachelor’s degree from Bucknell University, where she majored in Philosophy and Environmental Studies. In her free time, she enjoys reading, cooking, squash (the sport), as well as all water-based activities.
