Henrique Roncada
Jr. Economics Analyst

Henrique Roncada is a Jr. Economics Analyst at WRI Brasil, working with the Forests, Land Use and Agriculture team. His research focuses on the bioeconomy of sociobiodiversity and ecosystem restoration in the Amazon region. Previously, he was part of the Research, Data and Innovation (RDI) team, where he supported researchers in conducting studies and publishing findings in WRI publications.
Henrique is currently pursuing a degree in Economics at the University of São Paulo (FEA-USP). He has been actively involved in a student organization that connects social sciences students with programming, emphasizing applied research. His current research explores political and environmental economics, with a focus on degrowth and technological development.
