Hannah Sturgeon
Grants & Finance Specialist

Hannah Sturgeon is a Grants & Finance Specialist in the Climate, Economics & Finance Program. She provides grant management and proposal development support for several WRI teams, including The Living Lab.
Prior to joining WRI, Hannah worked as a Grant and Program Manager at Clean Fuels Ohio and a Legislative Service Commission Fellow. As a Grant and Program Manager, she oversaw the organization's federal and private grants. In her Fellowship Program, she was placed with the Ohio House of Representatives working out of Ranking Member Sweeney's office. In this role, Hannah participated directly in budget negotiations for Ohio's operating and transportation budgets.
Hannah received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, Environmental Science, and Sustainability Studies with minors in Earth Science and Legal Studies from Otterbein University. At Otterbein she served on the Board as a Student Trustee, as well as a variety of other student leadership and volunteer teams.
Hannah is the oldest of four girls and in her free time, coaches her twin sister's high school swim team. She enjoys reading, logic puzzles, and hiking. Hannah lives in Newark, OH with her fiancé, Grant, and their dog, Bentley.
