Guilherme Eufrasio Pinheiro
Engagement Analyst II, WRI Brasil
Guilherme Eufrasio Pinheiro is an Engagement Analyst for Bioeconomy and the Pan-Amazon department within the Forests, Land Use, and Agriculture team at WRI Brasil. He supports the Pan-Amazonian Bioeconomy Network, convening over 50 stakeholders from the public, private, and civil society sectors to strengthen the Pan-Amazonian bioeconomy ecosystem. His work involves supporting the development of governance agendas, strengthening local capacities, coordinating multi-stakeholder dialogue forums, and systematizing data to produce technical reports and socio-environmental assessments.
Prior to joining WRI Brasil, Guilherme worked in project management at Comuá Network, where he supported the coordination of community funds and independent organizations dedicated to socio-environmental justice. As a consultant for the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB Invest), he focused on engaging Indigenous communities in the Amazon and integrating traditional knowledge into the co-creation of local projects. He brings ten years of experience in the non-profit sector, operating at the intersection of international funding and community-led socioenvironmental impact.
Guilherme holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV-SP) and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in International Political Economy at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). His academic and professional background includes international experience at institutions such as Sciences Po (France) and the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM).
