Florença Fantinel
UX/UI Designer, Data Lab
Florença is a London-based UX/UI Designer within the Data Lab at WRI. In her role, she drives the design of digital experiences that support environmental and social impact, combining user-centred design with systems thinking to create products that enable a more resilient and sustainable future.
She currently collaborates on initiatives such as:
- TerraMatch – A platform accelerating global reforestation by connecting vetted tree-planting projects with funders.
- Cool Cities Lab – A project using data visualisation and urban design interventions to address the urban heat island effect and promote climate-adaptive cities.
Before joining WRI, Florença worked across diverse industries including e-commerce, finance, fashion, recruitment, and education. She partnered with global teams and entrepreneurs to develop innovative, inclusive products and services, and also led the Regenerative Business initiative at The C Collective.
She holds a Master’s degree in Online Marketing and Advertising from Istituto Europeo di Design in Madrid, along with several certifications in User Experience and Systems Change. Passionate about using design as a lever for transformation, she brings a thoughtful, purpose-driven approach to her work.
Outside of work, she recharges by exploring art and culture, running and rowing in the open air, and finding stillness through yoga and meditation.
