Ettore is the Planning and Performance Analyst for the Global Strategy and Management team within WRI Ross Center's global program. He is responsible for managing and analyzing data from the Center's projects worldwide and for leading the development of an internal decision-making support tool using business intelligence. Ettore is based in The Hague, the Netherlands, but his work supports the whole Cities network.

Prior to joining WRI, Ettore worked at an engineering Laboratory at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul in Porto Alegre and was a member of the organizing committees of two international conferences. He was also Leader of the Spectator Service's Team for the FIFA World Cup 2014 in Porto Alegre.

He holds a cum laude bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, with an emphasis on decision support systems, risk management and enterprise performance management. He is currently pursuing a MSc. degree in Engineering and Policy Analysis at the Delft University of Technology, in the Netherlands.

Ettore is also an amateur linguist, an avid traveler and a dog lover. He is fluent in six languages and is currently learning another two.
