Eduarda Thurler is the Finance and Investment Coordinator at WRI Brasil, where she is part of the Forests, Land Use, and Agriculture team. With extensive experience in sustainability finance, she leads the development of financial and investment strategies focused on landscape and forest restoration. Her work includes creating innovative financial mechanisms and engaging both public and private stakeholders in projects aimed at improving land-use efficiency and ecosystem restoration, while balancing economic considerations with best practices in sustainability.

Before joining WRI Brasil, Eduarda worked on green finance, with a focus on deforestation and zero-conversion initiatives, at WWF Brazil. She also served as a project coordinator for climate finance at the Frankfurt School - UNEP Collaborating Centre for Climate & Sustainable Energy Finance (FS-UNEP Centre) in Germany.

Eduarda holds a degree in Economic with a specialization in Finance. She also holds a postgraduate degree in Social Innovation Management and is currently completing a master’s in Sustainable Finance, specializing in Green Finance, at the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management.
