Camila Franco
Research Analyst

Camila Franco is a research analyst with the Forests and Land Use team at WRI Brazil. Her work focuses on developing socio-environmental analyses for landscape restoration, writing technical and scientific reports and articles, and defining methodological and monitoring strategies for projects. Her experience also includes facilitating collaborative processes, such as social landscape mapping and participatory cartography, to ensure the inclusion and representation of diverse stakeholders in socio-environmental governance and restoration strategies.
Before joining WRI Brazil, she gained experience in the third sector and environmental consulting, working on participatory processes for territorial and environmental management of traditional communities, identification and mitigation of environmental and social risks, design of compensation and monitoring strategies, and applied research in sustainability, ESG and socio-environmental safeguards. Camila has a bachelor's degree in Geography from the University of São Paulo and an academic master's degree in Geography and Environmental Management from the University of Uberlandia.
