Barbara Frizo
Senior Analyst in Sustainable Food Systems

Bárbara is a Senior Analyst for Sustainable Food Systems in the Forests, Land Use and Agriculture Program at WRI Brazil. She has always worked with research, whether in primary data collection, market research or in academia, on topics related to food, hunger, food production and related public policies. She is now part of the team to provide technical support on topics such as Family Farming and Food Production and Food and Nutrition Security and Insecurity.
She holds a bachelor's degree in Social Sciences from the School of Philosophy, Literature and Human Sciences at the Federal University of São Paulo (2014) and a Master's degree in Applied Human and Social Sciences from the Interdisciplinary Program in Applied Human and Social Sciences (MICHSA) at the School of Applied Sciences, State University of Campinas (2018). Bárbara is currently a PhD student at the School of Food Engineering in the Postgraduate Program in Food and Nutrition at Unicamp.
