Arthur Vieira
Economics and Finance for Nature Senior Analyst
Arthur Vieira is an Economics and Finance for Nature Senior Analyst at WRI Brasil, where he conducts research on financing for restoration and the valuation of ecosystem services within the Forests and Land Use program.
Before joining WRI Brasil, Arthur worked as a climate finance analyst at Climate Policy Initiative (CPI), where he conducted research on climate finance flows, financial instruments for restoration and conservation of tropical forests, as well as urban climate finance.
Arthur has also worked with Plataforma CIPÓ as a research assistant, analyzing the dynamics of environmental crimes in the Amazon region. In addition, he served as a research assistant at Harvard University on projects related to natural capital accounting and the political determinants of infrastructure projects in Latin America.
He holds a bachelor's degree in Government with a secondary in Economics from Harvard University.
