Thania started to work at WRI Indonesia as an intern and continues to serve as an Energy Analyst in the Energy Program. She is involved in various energy projects like the Clean Energy Investment Accelerator (CEIA), Climate Solution Partnership (CSP) and Sustainable Energy Transition Indonesia (SETI).

Her current research mostly focuses on industrial decarbonization through low-carbon technology solutions mapping - analyzing different temperature of industrial processes, solutions categories, and technology readiness level (TRL) - and clean heat technology exploration (e.g., CHP, heat pump, hydrogen) including assisting a biomass boiler pilot project with the industry and developing a policy brief on sustainable biomass. She is also actively participate in providing capacity building to WRI's partners including the industrial players and the utility company on sustainable finance and Energy Attribute Certificates (EAC) to promote green power procurement in the country.

Prior to joining WRI, she loved to enrich her experience and explore various industry by working with the government body and global management consulting. She worked under the Multilateral Foreign Funding in Indonesia’s National Planning Agency, Infrastructure and Capital Project Advisory at Deloitte Indonesia and worked as a student intern at Boston Consulting Group. Able to understand from various point of view and think structurally, she hopes to contribute in fostering Indonesia’s climate and clean energy sector.

Thania loves to read books about life and wellness, watch thriller movies, try out new recipe, wanders to new places and spend time with her family, boyfriend and her beloved dog in her leisure time.
