Anamaría serves as Research and Equity Coordinator for WRI México and WRI Colombia. Her role involves managing research and knowledge products and supporting the integration of a gender and social inclusion perspective in research projects across various programs and centers. She has been involved in sustainable urban mobility projects related to both public and private transportation, gender-responsive climate finance, land tenure in indigenous communities, and multisectoral impact analysis approaches. 

Anamaria holds a master's degree in social anthropology from the National Autonomous University of México (UNAM) and is a political scientist from the University of Rosario in Bogotá, Colombia. She has extensive experience in ethnographic methods and participatory processes in urban and rural settings in Latin America and the Caribbean. Her areas of work and research encompass gender public policies, land rights in rural and indigenous communities, and participatory urban planning for healthy cities.
